The PTA also raised £359 towards Mackenzie’s trip to Los Angeles to join team GB in the under 12 division in line hockey.

CLAPA charity coffee morning.

From the cake sales alone, we raised £117.20. We also had collection tins available and the total amount in these was £182.92. On top of this, we also have an online giving page which currently stands at £520 meaning the current amount for all donations is a staggering £820.12. Of course none of this would be possible without the huge sacrifice made by Kelly Carey to do a sponsored head shaving. She has done an amazing thing that will have an impact on so many lives. Thank you all.

Getting Ourselves seen

Aberthaw Power Station have kindly bought our school 30 high visibility jackets to support our health and safety policy. These will be used for many different purposes; walks in the village, woodland wonders and school trips in the community.

Bro Radio Fame

Recently 12 children from our choir went to sing at Bro radio. They all sang really well and we are all very proud of them.

All of the children remembered to wear their uniforms and were very well behaved.

The DJ’s were all very impressed with us and we are looking forward to hearing ourselves on the radio. They will be contacting our school in the near future to let us know when it will be broadcast.

A fair Success

A massive thank you to all the families and friends who attended our Christmas fair this year. There was a lovely atmosphere and the children had such fun creating things to sell.

We made a tremendous £734.43. Thank you also to the PTA support, we very much appreciate all your hard work.
